Call for Artists | Submit Your Line Art for Stitched Tees & Sweaters

Your Art. My Thread. One-of-a-Kind Collaborations.

Love creating bold line art, tattoo-style doodles, or weirdly wonderful illustrations?
I’m looking for independent artists to collaborate with — turning your original designs into wearable stitched art on my tees and sweaters.

So when your art becomes part of a Lucky Threads design, it isn’t just printed — it’s stitched, felt, and brought to life in its own one-of-a-kind way.

Each time someone chooses your design, you get paid — and your art gets to live out in the world, worn and loved by people who appreciate real creativity.

How It Works

1. Submit Your Design
Send me your line art — clean, black-and-white drawings work best (digital or scanned).
I’ll review it to make sure it suits my embroidery process and Lucky Threads style.

2. I List It
f your design’s a good fit, I’ll list it for sale as a design option on my website — with full artist credit.
Everything at Lucky Threads is made to order, so when someone chooses your design on a tee or sweatshirt, I’ll free-motion stitch it myself and post it directly to the customer.

3. You Get Paid When It Sells
Every time someone buys your design, you’ll receive:

• £2 per kids tee or sweater sold

• £4 per adult tee or sweater sold

Payments are made monthly via PayPal or bank transfer.

Artist Collab Pricing

I add a small premium to each artist collaboration piece to cover your payment and highlight its exclusivity:

These limited-edition designs are marked as Artist Collaborations, making them extra special for customers — and fair for you.

What works well

• Clean line art (limited shading no colour fills)

• Tattoo-style or doodle-inspired work

• Quirky, cute-with-an-edge energy,

• Weird, whimsical, kitsch or something else!

If it’s something you’d proudly have stitched on your own sweatshirt — I want to see it

What You Get

• You keep full copyright ownership of your work.

• I get a non-exclusive license to use your design on my wearables.

• You’ll be credited by name on the product page and tagged on social media whenever I feature your work.

• There’s no limit on submissions

How to Submit

• Your name and Instagram handle

• A short description of your style

• Up to 5 designs

• Optional: a short artist bio I can feature

Every Lucky Threads piece is made using free-motion embroidery or thread art, which means no two are ever exactly the same. Each one is drawn in thread — full of texture, movement, and tiny imperfections that make it completely unique.
